I spend some time planning my art and much more time making it. It takes quite a bit of focus and patience. My old art teacher used to say, "Art is work; that is why it is called artwork." I work bit by bit; like the little ant and the rubber tree plant. When I am finally done, I have some satisfaction and closure. Then I look over all the flaws that are obvious to me and I say to myself, "That is okay. The next one will be better."
